To view a larger imgage, click on a View Option.  Sizes available are Small, Medium, and Large. ("Large" is the full size as the photo was uploaded.)  You may also click on the thumbnail image to see a medium size version (best for most users).

To Submit Photos

If you have a photo you would like to share, you can upload it to the web site.  Once uploaded, your photo(s) will be reviewed and then made available for viewing.  Please provide as much information as possible when uploading since more information makes for more interesting photos.

South tunnel exit
What? You're supposed to open the lock? And not ram it?
 
The locked gate at the tunnel lasted about two hours before someone rammed their way through it.

SFTR, I-25 exit 6
The lineup to transport the old SFTR flatcar bridge
 
A large crane was required to remove the old SFTR bridge. These are the trucks required to transport the bridge. The crane is self-propelled.

Bridge Flatcars over Southwest Chief—End of an Era
 
On February 15th 2018 at 5:36 P.M. the Southwest Chief Amtrak #4 eastbound passed under the old SFTR flatcar bridge for the last time.

450 Ton Hydraulic Crane coming on the ranch to erect bridge girders
 
This is a Grove 450 ton hydraulic crane that will be positioned on the railroad grade to reach over the existing bridge and do the long reach required for one end of the bridge girders.
