Illustrations of the deck panels being placed across the gaps between the girders, then the deck rebar being placed and tied.  The side view shows the temporary form supports and side access walks being placed.  The concrete screeding machine will travel along pipe runners at the tops of the forms and conour the concrete accordingly.  The finished deck will have a rounded transition at the peak of the bridge when finished.  The red ground warming machine is equipped with several hundred feet of heated glycol filled hose, which is placed in a zig zag pattern on the rebar to preheat it.  The blankets will be removed during the pour, then replaced after the concrete sets sufficiently.
