November 17, 2025 – 9:00 am Working Session Agenda

**UPDATE**

The previously announced SFTR Board of Directors Working Session on November 17, 2025, 9:00 am at the MOC, 33712 Mountain View Drive will now be a “Special” Meeting of the Board of Directors. This change will allow for any voting required by the Board, owners present will be allowed to participate during the deliberation period of any vote, and minutes of the Special Meeting will be published and posted. The agenda for the Special Meeting of the Board is as follows:

1) Firewise Certification for 2025
2) Financial Reports for September and October
3) Address Remaining POA Expense Budget for November and December
4) POA Insurance Renewal
5) Colorado Division of Real Estate Registration
6) POA Need to Spend the $2,121 Donation on FHWM 
7) Speeding Deterrence
8) POA 2026 Budget
9) Committee Assignments

Following the Work Session, the Board will enter an Executive Session to discuss:

1) Covenants Violations

Mitigation Update

During a Working Session of the SFTR Board of Directors on Saturday June 28th, it was decided that effective immediately the Mitigation Committee will no longer chip branches and shrubs that Owners drag to the road along their property. The Committee cannot keep up with the amount of work that has been generated and must return the responsibility to individual owners. Your understanding is much appreciated.

We want to send out a big thank you to all of the volunteers that came out to make this a great mitigation event yesterday and today! We covered a lot of area on Cottonwood Canyon Drive between Turkey Creek Lane and Elk Ridge Trail. We pushed back the Junipers, Scrub Oak and our team favorite – The New Mexico Locust (actually we all hate it ). We focused on the blind curves to make the drive safer for all as well as better fire evacuation.

We did a pre-cutting on Friday afternoon that worked out great to ensure the chipper crew had plenty to do while we continued to cut on Saturday morning.

Please thank your neighbors that helped out when you see them! They did a fantastic job working as a well-oiled machine.
