Dear Lord,

Thank you for whatever degree of assistance you have given us to find this little spot on your globe called the Santa Fe Trail Ranch. It is “Home” and filled with beauty beyond compare of new and old acquaintances, and new and old friends. It is special!! And thank you for our other neighbors of the animal kingdom…from the strong, stealthy top of the food chain…to the tiny, beautiful hummingbirds who spend most of their lives conducting feats of flight that are simply amazing to watch!

And finally, Lord, as we awake to beautiful sunrises and we are quietly in awe of sunsets that are simply beyond description, we are lead more and more often to a quiet personal spot where we are able to fulfill, Lord, one of your commands…“To be silent and know that I am God.”
