Introducing new Communications Committee Chair - John Gerald

As I move forward with new volunteer opportunities, I am excited to introduce John Gerald as the new Chairperson for the Communications Committee. John and his wife, Jean, moved to SFTR a year ago from Houston Texas and are so happy to be here in this wonderful area of Colorado.

In asking John a bit about his history, he shared the following:

• As a seasoned IT professional with over 40 years of experience in the industry. I have had the privilege of working for some of the most reputable companies in the world, including Honeywell Building Services Division, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Sony Music.
• At Honeywell Building Services Division, I was responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure and ensuring that all systems were running smoothly. During my tenure at Digital Equipment Corporation, I worked as an IT Manager and was responsible for overseeing the company’s IT operations. At Sony Music, I served as an IT Director and was responsible for managing the company’s USA corporate IT operations.
• In addition to my corporate experience, I am also the proud owner of my own consulting company. My company specializes in providing IT consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses.
• I am excited to bring my wealth of experience and expertise to Sante Fe Trail Ranch and look forward to working with you.
